WOW

I just realized Watty and I have been together 9 1/2 months. I don't think it should surprise me though since I just did a month update not to long ago. lol Oh well we have a picnic this weekend so that will be fun. We might even get to meet Sarge who is a guide dog from one of the California schools. Not sure which one though.

93Q Day in the Country(lots of pictures)

Olivia, Watty and I went to a country music festival put on by one of the country stations. Friday evening it had rained and there was a 20% chance on Saturday and I was hoping it wouldn't rain because I would not go then. The weather held out. Yes it did sprinkle a little and then toward the evening there was a nice light rain for a few minutes. After that it rained about once an hour. The performers were Kate and Kacey, Justin Moore, Lost Trailers, Kieth Anderson, and Gretchen Wilson to close the night. I didn't think I knew any of their songs until I was there. I really didn't know any of them except Gretchen Wilson. Kate and Kacey are identical twins and were found on CMT's show "Can You Duet?" They all were fun. I have found some new artists that I like. We sat by a light tower during the show. I told Watty to mind his business while he was eating but he kept looking up so finally I looked up to see a guy working on top of the tower. After I saw that I laughed and said he was silly but I guess he didn't like me calling him silly because he barked. Other than that happening he enjoyed the music.Kate and Kacey

From where I was sitting the guy in the blue looked like Ian to me. Olivia thought so too.

Randy Lee

Stokes Nielson

When it was time for meet and greet with Stokes and Randy it was crazy. I meet Stokes first and he is a cool sweetie pie. When I meet Randy he kinda seemed snobbish but it might have been just the craziness/hectic way the fans were so he has another chance with me. ;)

9 Months Already?

Watty and I have been a team for 9 months(2 days ago). WOW!!! This past month has been a little quieter. My normal daily routine with him is getting smoother and I have learned that I HAVE to feed Watty by hand. He had gotten sick a few days because he ate to fast. Nothing to exciting happened this month. March 14 we saw Josh Turner and he did great. Other than that all that happened was Easter. We had family come for Easter and he did well. Katie was here for Easter and Watty knew not to test her. He did get to play with her and they both had a fun time. Katie has helped show me how to work on two tricks with him. We are working on wave and bow. I think he was taught wave because he picked that up quick. The next few months we are going to have fun. I was asked to be in my cousin's wedding on our "anniversary" and of course I said yes so we are excited. Off to our next adventure.

Muddy Muddy Puppies

Yesterday Olivia, Watty, and I went to have lunch and a puppy play date with Richard and Trotter. Lunch was good, we ate at Chili's. The dogs were a little crazy at first but they calmed down fast. We went to where Richard takes Trotter to play this time instead of at my house. It was a nice area for them to run and if it was closer to me I would take Watty everyday. Well they had fun and just as Richard was telling me about a spot that gets swampy I looked around for the dogs and they were none other than in the mud puddle getting dirty. We called them back and of course they both immediately try and jump on us. On to the pictures to show how dirty they got. Luckily we were going to bath Watty after anyway.Trotter

Chilly's Pet Pals

I am a big hockey fan and when I heard our team was sponsoring a pet night where fans could bring their dogs I wanted to go. Yeah I know I get to take Watkins any way but I thought it would be fun. I asked Olivia if she would go with me and she agreed to go. We had a blast. We got there early and checked out what they had. The Aeros had teamed up with the Humane Society so they were there with some dogs(puppies) that were up for adoption. They also had the Texas Wildlife Rehab, search and rescue and a few doggie spas. Of course I saw puppies and went straight there. They had four dogs and at first I thought two of them were yellow labs but I found out that they were beagle mixes. They were precious. I so wanted to take one of the yellows home but I knew mom would kill me:). After we spent some time with the puppies we went and got our seats. I have taken Watkins to 3 hockey games before this one and he has had trouble laying still or where I want him. Well this time he did great. I told him down and he went straight down and watched the game. His head was bouncing like he was at a tennis match. During one of teh intermissions there was a drumline that performed and when they started Watkins poped up and watched them. It was so funny. He did so well with all the dogs that were there.Snickers pulling on his brother(two of the four puppies)
